The cinematography for "io e te" maps a psychological tug-of-war between the magnetic, tense memory of an ex and the comforting presence of a new relationship. To capture this internal friction, I crafted a visual language built entirely on heavy color contrast and distinct lighting textures.
Shot on Lumix S5IIX, the look balances rich depth with agile framing. The lighting design relies on Nanlite Forza 300 fixtures modified to separate the two emotional worlds: the cold, unresolved attraction to the ex is shaped by moody, gelled cyan tones through sharp Fresnel lenses, while the transition to the new partner is bathed in a soft, organic warmth achieved by bouncing the key light off unbleached muslin.
